Good news for families: Minions & Monsters the third Minions movie and seventh film in the Despicable Me franchise starts streaming on Peacock on October 28, 2026, just in time for Halloween. After a $523 million box office run, the little yellow troublemakers are coming home.

What is Minions & Monsters about?

Set in 1927 Hollywood between the silent film and sound film eras the movie follows the Minions as they become movie stars, lose everything, and accidentally unleash monsters into the world. Their attempt to fix the disaster gives them a challenge considerably bigger than making a hit film. Pierre Coffin directs and voices the Minions, as always. My take

The $523M theatrical run proved audiences still love these characters, and I bet the Peacock numbers will be huge especially with parents who skipped theaters but want a Halloween-weekend watch. My prediction: this becomes Peacock's biggest animated debut of the year.
